Society Partnerships Assistant - Working Student (40%)

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the internal database for societies and acquisitions
- Set up system accounts for societies affiliated with the journals
- Respond to society members regarding discount policies and eligibility
- Research societies suggested by Managing Editors, Journal Relations Specialists, or other colleagues, and recommend appropriate outreach strategies
- Research journals with potential for acquisition or take-over and prepare supporting information
- Monitor team activities and compile monthly reports
- Draft preliminary agreements and amendments using established templates
- Ensure all contracts and related documents are accurately stored and well-organized
- Provide support for team marketing initiatives
- Assist in updating documents, guidelines, and web content related to societies
- Support the team with additional tasks as required, aligned with the Assistant’s skills and experience
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree, ideally in Marketing, Communications, or Publishing

Native or near-native proficiency in English and French (C2 level)

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Highly detail-oriented with strong strategic awareness

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
