Internal Communications Assistant - Working Student (40%)
Join us as an Internal Communications Assistant to craft clear, engaging content, support intranet updates, and help strengthen employee connection across our global organization.
As a Internal Communications Assistant (40%) at MDPI you will support the development and implementation of communication activities that create employee engagement connecting them with the company’s operations and practices. The role focuses on helping to create clear, consistent, and engaging internal communications across different channels, including the intranet (SharePoint). This position provides hands-on experience in corporate communications, writing, and digital content management.
As part of our commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment, this role requires working fully on-site.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Draft and edit internal communication in the form of employee spotlights, project updates, department stories, and office news) to be released via articles, guidelines, and newsletters;
- Support content updates (uploading material to the Sharepoint intranet);
- Assist in developing and maintaining communication guidelines and templates;
- Coordinating internal stakeholders to gather content and information update for internal communications.
Requirements:
- At least in the second year of a Bachelor’s or early Master’s studies in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing, or Business Administration;
- Experience within the field is welcome, but not necessary;
- Excellent command of English (C1–C2, mandatory); additional languages are a plus;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft O360;
- Advanced writing and editing skills in English;
- Ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content across different formats (e.g., guidelines, articles, intranet posts);
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable;
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills.
