We are looking for a dynamic, solution-oriented and creative HR Generalist in our headquarter office in Basel, Switzerland. In this new position, you will support the HR Manager in the smooth administration of the HR department and help to develop and maintain global HR processes.

 

As HR Generalist you will:

  • Support and work hand-in-hand with the HR Manager in various HR activities
  • Take care of the employees’ life cycle
  • Maintain and update employees’ files and database
  • Maintain a working knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • Coordinate welcome sessions for new employees in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Support time recording, including holiday and absence management
  • Ensure monthly payroll process and administration
  • Provide support with the administration of employee benefits (pension, health insurance, social insurances, family allowances)
  • Support the implementation of the new company’s culture
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR global projects
  • Coordinate the organization of staff events and activities with the office manager
  • Act as contact person for employees and Swiss public administration

 

Requirements:

  • Swiss Federal Certificate in HR or similar education
  • At least 2 years of experience of working in an HR role, experience in payroll processing is a strong asset
  • Experience in an international environment is a plus
  • Very good knowledge of Swiss Labor Law and Swiss social security is a plus
  • Experience in payroll processing and administration is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • IT literate (MS Office, HR tools)
  • Dynamic and reliable team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a pro-active mindset
  • Good organization and prioritizing skills
  • Capability to work in a dynamic and international environment
